By the end of the education program, participants will have had the opportunity:

• to learn about and discuss topics that pertain to international best practices in physician assessment and remediation, including:
  • The National Clinical Assessment Service (NCAS) Eight Year Report - an update of the experiences and outcomes to date in the United Kingdom
  • Current thoughts and evidence as it applies to the best approaches to physician assessment
  • Evidence on best practices and challenges in physician feedback and remediation
  • A review of case-based discussion/chart-stimulated recall
  • Strategies and challenges of direct observation of physicians in practice
• to collaborate and strengthen relationships with colleagues in the areas of phsycian assessment and remediation.
• to learn about research and other projects being undertaken by members of IPAC and CPE by poster presentation and a formal research forum.
• to observe and participate in brief (and fun) presentations called Two Slides, Two Minutes, Two Questions, where projects and pearls of wisdom are concisely presented - with a time clock running.
