The Coalition for Physician Enhancement (CPE) is a consortium of professionals with expertise in quality assurance, medical education, and the assessment, licensing, and accreditation of referred physicians seeking higher levels of performance in patient care.

The Coalition for Physician Enhancement (CPE) is a professional organization with three categories of membership: programs, sponsoring organizations, and individual members.

The goals of the Coalition for Physician Enhancement:

1. To provide relevant members services, education and resources that assist the practice and development of CPE professionals and programs.
2. To provide a forum to discuss issues that impact physician enhancement (personalized assessment and education) programs.
3. To collaborate on research projects to improve the disciple of physician enhancement.
4. To promote awareness of the availability, benefits, confidentiality and appropriate utilization of physician enhancement programs.
5. To recognize excellence in the discipline of physician enhancement.
6. To proactively advocate for the discipline of physician enhancement.
7. To promote accreditation mechanisms and standards for agencies providing physician enhancement services and programs, and to assist coalition members in responding to accreditation recommendations.
